This Global Chemical and Ingredient Distributor partners with its customers and suppliers for the value-added distribution of chemistry and related products and services. NuWave has teamed up with this distributor and have deployed LED lighting to achieve optimal energy efficiency and improve the safety of their distribution centers.

THE SOLUTION

NuWave Energy Solutions team has partnered with the implementation of LED lighting upgrades at 12 sites across 6 states. The two groups collaborated together to build a plan for energy conservation, prioritizing improvements and sustainabilty to older warehouses and heavy electricity usage.

The NuWave team developed a solution to maximize energy savings, increase light levels and a safer work environment. The customer has received enormous benefits from this program including more than $170K in utility incentives.

THE IMPACT

Lighting upgrades were made to the interior and exterior of the production, warehouse and office spaces.

The upgrades included a combination of installing new LED fixtures, LED retrofit kits and LED lamps that were designed to best fit the facilities’ needs and to ensure the project would qualify for the highest program.

New motion sensors were added to provide additional energy savings through occupancy sensing.

Project implementation took place simultaneously between 12 projects in 6 different states, allowing for a swift project execution that allowed the client to start realizing energy saving immediately.
